It is derived from SDOFile and inherits all of its properties and methods. When a SDOLinkedFile object is opened directly it is immediately positioned to the first record in the file. The Fields collection of the file will then return the data of this current record. You can then use the MoveNext, MoveLast, MovePrev and MoveFirst methods to navigate the whole file. If a SODLinkedFile object is returned as a result of another objects Items property or Link method then the MoveNext, MoveLast, MovePrev and MoveFirst methods will navigate the originating object's items. For example, the Items property of the InvoiceRecord object returns a SDOLinkedFile object representing the invoice's line items, using the MoveNext, MoveLast, MovePrev and MoveFirst methods on this link would navigate through the specific items for the invoice that related to InvoiceRecord's current record. | ||
